Combining tech tasks with a creative vision is one of the strengths of Kaprikorni, and here is how you can benefit from it.

Customer

The Customer is a sizable organization that operates a variety of enterprises, including hotels, restaurants, a sports venue, an online magazine, and omnichannel commerce, which is represented by a number of physical stores and Magento e-shops.

Challenge

The Customer worked hard to fulfill an ambitious notion of building an integrated client base and winning customer loyalty with a personalized approach in order to stay one step ahead in the competitive climate.

The Customer intended to upgrade a hotel’s website as well as an online store, both of which were built on the Magento platform, as the initial phase of this large-scale project. They needed to learn more about their clients in order to develop a fantastic user experience. It was necessary to analyze the client bases in order to identify customer needs, including what would deter customers from making a purchase and what might motivate them to do so.

The Customer anticipated that the improvement of their e-commerce solutions would provide them with a competitive edge.

Solution

Kaprikorni’s team began the project with cutting-edge UX research to establish the framework for future website optimization. The team has extensive experience in Magento development.

There were two phases to the UX research:

  • Creating personas

Each shopper has unique buying habits, objectives, and concerns. Kaprikorni developed customer categories known as personas by using customer data to pinpoint shared characteristics of important consumer segments.

Each persona’s evaluated and described characteristics fell into one of four big groups:

  • Background
  • Use of modern technology
  • Purchase preferences
  • Shopping patterns

At this point, about 15 personas had been developed. It aided in creating a thorough understanding of present clients. Kaprikorni offers to target client categories defined by comparable attributes and purchasing patterns as opposed to working with each Customer individually or with the impersonal consumer pool.

  • Creating user stories

Persona development resulted in the creation of more than 30 user stories. The UX designers at Kaprikorni created simulations of every possible behavioral scenario for each persona, evaluated the problems users would run into when navigating the websites, and located revenue leakage. To provide the greatest possible client experience, the team suggested enhancements.

At the UX design stage, Kaprikorni developed web page prototypes that took into account the preferences and demands of various client categories, and it made suggestions on how to make e-commerce solutions easier to use and more appealing to customers.

Results

According to the original objective, Kaprikorni carried out a UX study of consumer bases and provided two Magento websites with a unique UX design. The websites were improved using the web page prototypes that were created. This collaboration has evolved into the foundation of a significant cross-business integration effort.
